FerryGateway Association (FGWA) is the legal entity that controls and owns FerryGateway standard. It was established in October 2014 and its place of residence is Copenhagen, Denmark. The Chairman of the Board is Martin Mürk CIO at Tallink AS. Managing Director is Sune Häggblom, Finland.
FGWA owns the intellectual property rights of FerryGateway standard and is working with development, maintenance and support of the standard. The FGW Association also communicates and markets FerryGateway to agents, travel organizations and other ferry operators with the objective to use FerryGateway as the common worldwide standard for digital communication between ferry operators and their partners.
The members and owners of FGWA are Brittany Ferries, Color Line, DFDS, Irish Ferries, Stena Line, Tallink, Viking Line and Naviera Armas Trasmediterranea.
